Selkent will be the exclusive distributor of the Maturix intelligent sensor system. The Maturix unit provides real-time monitoring of concrete temperature, strength, and maturity, giving an accurate report from inside concrete elements as they are curing and drying.
The innovative concrete monitoring system enables construction project engineers to make operational decisions based on real-time data, which is proven to increase project efficiency, cut costs, and enhance quality control.
Crucially, the system utilises inexpensive thermocouples embedded in the structure to perform the monitoring, removing the need to sacrifice expensive cast-in sensors and lowering running costs. Other monitoring systems currently in use are buried into the concrete whereas the Maturix unit can be disconnected and reused. Not only does this help to keep project costs down, but it also generates less onsite waste and offers a more sustainable option.

The Rebar Buddy, which is reusable and recyclable is distributed exclusively in the UK by Selkent, represents a significant improvement on existing methods the company says.
Exposed rebar can cause safety issues for those working on site, with protruding rebars causing a potential for injury or trip hazard.
The familiar plastic rebar mushroom caps currently used are frequently contaminated with concrete which means they cannot be recycled and therefore don’t meet current sustainability expectations.
The Rebar Buddy is constructed from a PTE thermoplastic elastomer that Selkent claims is perfectly suited to its application. The material combines stiffness with just the right elasticity to allow the product to endure repeated use, delivering a strong grip while allowing easy application.
The product is supplied either as individual caps or as a long strip to cover multiple rebar protrusions, allowing quicker application and saving time.

When it comes to construction work, safety is always a top priority. One of the most dangerous aspects of the job is the risk of contact injuries from exposed rebar. Fortunately, there's a solution that can help prevent these injuries and save construction workers time and money: Rebar Buddy.
Rebar Buddy is an innovative product that makes it easy to identify exposed rebar and protect workers from injury. Made from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), these flexible products are designed to fit securely over rebar diameters from 8mm to 25mm. Thanks to their flexible and robust design, they're resistant to wind, contact, and vibration and are less prone to splitting.
Because Rebar Buddy stays in place on the rebar, there's less site litter and less maintenance required to replace them. And when you're done with the particular operation, the product can be easily removed and reused many times, reducing waste and saving money.
Plus, when Rebar Buddy reaches the end of its
